All the items on this page are laboratory-grown opals. They are "grown" in
a laboratory using the exact same chemical composition as real (from the ground) opals. How does this differ from "imitation
opal?" Imitation opal can be made of anything, and not necessarily of the same chemical formula as real opal.
These are absolutely gorgeous -- my best-selling retail item, as a matter-of-fact -- and the pictures honestly
don't do them justice. In person, the colors are much more vibrant with lots of opal flash. Lab opals are less
fragile than real opals, and a great economical alternative. The charms are set in sterling silver, and the crystals
are Austrian Swarovski. Charm size listed is without the top loop.
